Microblading in Pinner. Pink & Rose now offers Microblading for eyebrows. Microblading to achieve natural looking, fuller eyebrows.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a form of tattooing/semi-permanent make up on the eyebrows to make them look fuller and thicker, in a very natural way. A hand held tool is used to add pigment into the skin through very fine needles. This allows for super fine hair strokes to be created, which look as realistic as possible to the natural brow hairs.
The microblading treatment is primarily made up of 2 parts: the consultation and initial treatment followed by a retouch appointment 6-8 weeks later. Because the pigment is added to the epidermis (superficial level of the skin) as oppose to the dermis (deeper level of the skin) it can fade. Therefore, a colour boost is recommended every 12-18 months in order to maintain optimum results.
A patch test is also required before the first appointment.
HOW IS IT DONE?
Microblading is carried out at Pink & Rose within our Beauty rooms. The initial consultation, where our microblading artist will take the time to look at your eyebrows and understand what you want to achieve, will also include a medical questionnaire to confirm the treatment is safe and effective for your skin type.
The actual microblading session will take approximately 3 hours and the artist will speak to you throughout the service to ensure you remain comfortable and updated about the progress.
Following this, full aftercare information will be provided and explained to ensure you continue to achieve the best results at home. Where, the results of the very first treatment will fade over a few weeks, which is to be expected, a retouch will be required.
The re-touch is a very similar process to the initial treatment, but will be a little shorter taking approximately 2 hours.
An annual pigment boost is required after 12-18 months to maintain the appearance of the eyebrows and counteract any fading. Providing this is booked within 18 months of the very first treatment, it is charged at 50% off the cost price. The top-up itself is similar in process to the initial microblading treatment.
DOES IT HURT?
A numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to the microblading treatment to ensure the treatment remains comfortable. The microblading artist will also be communicating throughout the treatment to ensure any discomfort is continually prevented for the whole duration of the service.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The first Microblading consultation and appointment takes about 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the look you are going for and what your natural eyebrows looks like.
