In the Salon With: Roopal Umradia
Having grown up in East Africa and being trained in both Kenya and England, Roopal has brought a vast range of experience, knowledge and culture to Pink & Rose since joining us earlier this year. Supporting us in the role of Salon Junior Roopal’s passion for hair, quick learning and popularity with clients has seen her grow into a valued and well-loved member of the Pink & Rose Team. Below, we catch up with her on all from her childhood abroad to her interest in hair!

Good Listener, Confident & Easy-Going
2. What do you love about hairdressing?
Making people feel great about themselves! Plus, hairdressing is an active and social profession and i do love keeping busy!
3. What was growing up in kenya like?
Amazing weather in the tropical country of Kenya so as well as gorgeous sunshine I was also spoiled with amazing fresh fruit to graze on growing up! And you can’t go wrong with the scenic white beaches so I often spent my free time there relaxing!
4. What do you miss most about kenya?
The sunshine, my family and my dogs!
5. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I aspire to be a busy Senior stylist in ten years!
6. What do you enjoy about working at Pink & Rose?
The staff are brilliant, the clients are lovely of course I love having Charlie the salon dog around!
